What are the fees and what  do they include?

The registration cost is $75.00 per player. The cost includes the following:

$7.00 SELFL registration fee per player

$10.00 (Heat Football T-Shirt)

$58.00 (Heat Football registration)

Our goal is to render our services to as many children as possible within our parish at a reasonable
cost  to the parents. We are firm believers that children should be involved in positive and structured
extra-curricular activities; and we urge you to keep your child involved in as many activities as possible
within their home, school ,church and community. Please also visit the
St. John Parish Parks and
Recreation Department ,where  they  offer several other recreational activities for the children of St.
John Parish.


What will I be required to buy?
Each player will be required to purchase their own (black) football pants which may be used for both
practices and games. Each player will be required to purchase their own game socks (both black & red)
and a seven (7) piece football pants set.  Your child will be issued a helmet, shoulder pad and a
mouthpiece. If the initial mouth piece is lost, a replacement mouth piece can be purchased from the
organization at a cost of $3.00. Note:
NO PLAYER WILL BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY
PRACTICES OR GAMES WITHOUT A MOUTHPIECE. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!


Will I receive a full refund if my child decides not to      
participate  after all fees are paid?
If your child discontinues the program before August 28, 2011, a $50.00 non-refundable fee will be
paid to the organization. If your child quits the program after August 28, 2010, no fees will be refunded.
NO EXCEPTIONS!  ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE YOUR CHILD RECEIVE EQUIPMENT.

How are the monies used?

All funds collected by the Heat Youth Organization are generated solely from
registration fees, fund raisers and the hosting of our home games. The funds are
the sole operating source of our program  and are utilized for the following:


  • Purchase and up-keep of Football Equipment; Helmet, Shouldpads
    Chin Straps, etc..
  • Storage Fees
  • Purchase of concession items , copy paper, binders, etc...
  • Official Fees for all home games (3 Officials per game)
  • Funding for the end of the season awards ceremony, where each
    participant receives awards and other accolades  for both their
    athletic and academic achievements.

Where are the home games held?
Our home games are held at Joe Keller Stadium, in Reserve, Louisiana.
The admission prices for our home and away games are
$4.00 adults and
$1.00 for students(1st thru 12th grade). The admission prices are
established by the SELFL and applies to all participating teams .

TRANSPORTATION FOR  AWAY GAMES
The Heat Youth Organization does not provide transportation to our away
games. Parents are required to secure transportation for their child(ren) to
and from all away games.
